Angela Landers
Communications Director
Angela Landers is the Communications Director at Margaret Spellings and Company. In this role, Landers is responsible for developing communication strategies and handles all media relations for the firm.
Prior to joining Margaret Spellings and Company, Landers worked on Capitol Hill as the Communications Director for the Small Business Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. Landers also held the position of Special Assistant to Secretary Margaret Spellings at the U.S. Department of Education. In that capacity she managed the Secretary's personal office and served as a communication liaison and advisor to the Secretary.
Prior to serving Secretary Spellings, Ms. Landers worked as a communication specialist under Education Secretary Rod Paige where she was responsible for advising communications for President Bush's education initiative, No Child Left Behind. Before joining the U.S. Department of Education, Ms. Landers began her political career in the office of U.S. Senator James M. Talent (R-MO). Landers is a graduate of the University of Missouri and holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish.
